I have worked in the heating and plumbing trade since I was 21, sixteen years now. I served an apprenticeship under one of the best plumbers (in my opinion) in the Bury area where courtesy, honesty and punctuality were taught alongside plumbing and heating skills.
I then served nearly two years with a medium-sized company based in Thetford where I gained my oil qualifications and acquired experience in the oil-fired boiler industry.
Following that, I spent 6 months with a building company based around Bury St. Edmunds. I decided that the ‘thrash and bash’, ‘bodge-it and scarper’ style of plumbing wasn’t my thing.
A year of being a self-employed plumber was followed by nearly two years travelling and working abroad.
Since 2011 I have been concentrating on cementing Moffat Heating and Plumbing as a honest, reliable and quality heating and plumbing company.
I intend to expand the business, taking on and training the future generation of plumbers.
